Thank you so much for your prayers,I'am a strong believer in the power of prayer. I prayed the whole time he fought for his life. Things are looking up, and Charles will be home soon,maybe for thanksgiving, but definantly for x-mas. I continue to pray for him and the family to have strength and faith for the times to come. It will be a year or more still of therapy and hard work for us all to deal with,and also to meet the new charles.Once again thank you for your prayers. God bless.

Thanks for the info, We have our son in a program that is very similiar to what you have listed. Because he is a TBI patient ( Traumatic Brain Injury ) he is a participant of what they call TBI wavier. He is coming along nicely,and may be home soon. Things are looking up and he is alive. Thank you once again. I did save your info,and plan on reviewing it even more.

Im a mother of 3 with a wonederful husband of 3 yrs. We've been sruggling for the past 2 yrs,due to a thyroid disease my husband was diagnosed with. With no health ins. and not able to meet the requirements to recieve any assistance our bills kept mounting. My husband went through 2 layoffs due to his illness. Once we had a grip on things in aug. of this year I recieved the phone call a mother fears worst. My 23 yr.old had gotten struck down by a moving vehicle doing 55 mph. He barely survived, he broke every bone in his face,his right leg, left wrist and suffered severe traumatic brain injury,he was in a coma for 16 days and now recieves therapy in brain unit 3 hrs.away. I have had to cut down my hrs at work in order to take care of my son's finances and affairs. Since his father does not take any time out to help care for my son,it is solely up to me. My husband tries his best to keep our home and lights on and to keep our 2 old vehicles running. It has been such a struggle and run into problems every day.I'm having a hard time getting up to my son due to car break downs and mony. I have never done anything like this before,I guess you could say I'm taking desperate measures now. I have recently written a childrens book and have sent it to several publishers,I hope to be sucessful one day and pay people back,or at least society. If there is anyone who could help my family I would surely appreciate it. I have prayed everday and night for my son's life and we have it,I thank god everyday. I just don't know if he can answer any more of my prayers. Although I keep praying. We have asked several family members for help, but unfortunatly they don't have it either. I'm a mom of 3 children, have a wonderful husband of 3 years,our luck has been nothing but horrible in the past 2 years,first my husband was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and missed alot of time from work he had a few lay offs because of his condition,we managed through all that,kept our house going,kept our old vehicles running and kept our bellies full. Thank goodness my 2 sons were out on their own and doing o.k. my teenage daughter remained with us unitll she turned 18. We were just starting to bounce back when in Aug I recieved the phone call a mother fears most. My 24 yr.old son was struck down by a motorist doing 55 mph.He survived but barely. He was in a coma for 16 day's and is now in a brain rehabilitation center 3 hrs away. He suffered traumatic brain injury and will never be the same again. Myself and his girlfriend are his caretakers, His father does not take the time to tend to our son,therefore it is up to me. My problem is my vehicle,my husband tries his best to keep it running for me,but to no avail,we are barely making ends meet we almost lost our home. I have had to take time off of my job to tend to my sons financial affairs and his therepy sessions. It is so important to him for me to be there and I can't seem to be there when I'm needed.It saddens me so. My family members are in no way possible to help me,I have horriable credit because of a nasty divorce,my husbands credit is just as bad because of medical bills that have piled up due to having no health ins. If anyone can help,it would be greatly appreciated. I have never done anything like this before, we try to help people whenever we can, I'm hoping against all odds that there is someone out there that could help me be with my son and to maybe get a better vehicle. I'm also an author of children's books unpublished at this time, although I do have it out to publishers in case there's anyone interested. I truely am blessed with wonderful family traditions and morals,if only the finances were just as great. Thank you for your time and website.
